gloria spielman writerWelcome!

gloria spielman writerI am a born-and-bred Londoner. I grew up in Whitechapel, London, steeped in the area’s rich and fascinating history. I spent most of my childhood treading the path to and from the famous Whitechapel Library. I earned an MA in linguistics and Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Surrey University. While formerly I enjoyed being a high school English teacher, now I adore being a full-time writer.  I write English teaching materials (books, tests, multimedia and scripts), and I have published three children’s books.
